Learn the basics of pucker-toe moccasin making through guided instruction from Cherokee Nation citizen Feather Smith.  This immersive class offers a hands-on opportunity to learn Cherokee cultural knowledge while creating your own pair of traditional-style moccasins.  All materials will be provided.

Classes fill up quickly and are limited to 20 participants, so be sure to reserve your spot today! Only 6 spots currently available.

No reservations will be accepted after 4 p.m. CDT the day before the class.

Cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours before the class.

Class will be held at the Cherokee Nation Anna Mitchell Cultural & Welcome Center at 953 E. Illinois Ave. in Vinita, Oklahoma from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own snacks or lunch.

Participants must be at least 18 years old.

About the Instructor: Feather Smith is a Cherokee Nation citizen who serves as the Cherokee Nation's ethnobiology manager.  A former Miss Cherokee and cultural biologist, she enjoys sharing Cherokee cultural knowledge through hands-on instruction.
