About the Artist
Mark Wolfe is a Cherokee artist who works in multiple painting and drawing media. Mark was raised in Stilwell, OK, and currently lives in Collinsville, OK. His interest in portraying Cherokee culture and history was encouraged at a young age by his Grandmother and the Cherokee artist Cecil Dick, a maternal cousin. Mark attended Northern State University in Tahlequah, OK, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is currently teaching art at Town & Country School in Tulsa.
