This year's 2024 Remember the Removal Ride commemorative shirt celebrates 40 years since the initial ride by Cherokee citizens from our ancestral homelands back to Oklahoma. The design is by Cherokee National Treasure Dan Mink.
The annual ride allows young Cherokees to retrace the northern route of the Trail of Tears on bicycles. Their journey spans about 950 miles from Georgia to Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Proceeds from the sale of shirts go back into funding the annual ride!
