This deck of cards is perfect for anyone interested in learning the Cherokee Syllabary while having a fun time doing it! Created by Dione and Ramona Byrd, a husband and wife team, the card games were to first help with Ramona learning the Syllabary. Then, with the help of the Cherokee Language Department, the cards were further developed to help keep the Cherokee language alive for this and future generations.
The game consist of 90 cards - 86 featuring the syllabary characters and 4 Wild Cards - along with a game instructions and a Cherokee Syllabary Chart.
