Description
A traditional hand-dug clay, mixed with sand for temper, and hand-made Cherokee Coiled pot method. Hand-polished with a smooth stone, then fired in a red oak wood fire pit in my yard. All work is done with the traditional method of making Cherokee pottery.

About the Artist
I am an active Cherokee artist. I create traditional pottery and sculptures in wood and stone. I have entered and won awards in numerous Cherokee art shows, including the Cherokee National Holiday art show, Cherokee Homecoming Art Show, and the Trail of Tears Art Show.
