About the Artist
I started with ceramics in 1966, when I worked as an apprentice in a ceramics studio. In 1968, I went to the College of Marin as an art student focusing on ceramics. Over the years, I have practiced in various studios, primarily working as a wheel thrower throughout my career. In 1996, I purchased an art gallery. In 2001, I purchased the building where I operated the gallery to set up my own ceramics studio. My gallery features paintings and ceramics, and I have studios where we give lessons and workshops. Jane Osti, Cherokee National Treasure, led a weekend hand-building workshop here several years ago. Last year, I hosted a show featuring contemporary ceramic artists.
