Description
Honeydew is a part of my small series of pottery known as the "Melon Sisters". These are small wheel-thrown pots that are given a thin layer of silica glass and pushed to their limits. Creating the unique cracks.Unlike her sisters, Honeydew was created with the intention of being smoked with pine needles. Giving her a different look from others in the series. Honeydew is also my fourth successful throw since I started taking pottery classes through the Artist Recovery Act six months ago.
