About the Artist
Mark Wolfe was born in 1971 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and was raised in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Wolfe's interest in Cherokee art and history were encouraged by his grandmother and the artist Cecil Dick who was his grandmother's first cousin. Mark Wolfe is currently the art teacher at Town and country school in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
