Description
This gorget and beads are handmade from red clay. The gorget features ceramic glaze and a white feather decal. The metal beads and findings are copper, and glass beads are also included. This piece features two shades of corn beads. I grew the corn beads and was surprised to learn how the changing weather and light patterns seemed to have an effect on the shade of the corn beads. Beads that had more time on the plant in the height of the season were darker.
