Description
Through my research for my collage pieces, I felt sick reading the documents describing the displacement of native children from their families, senseless evil, and the countless number of missing Indigenous people that continues to rise. The centuries of mistreatment and abuse ancestors have faced will never be erased, but we can spread awareness and provide help to our Native relatives today. The background was made using the hands of Indigenous women and children.
