About the Artist
Lorna Mason, a Native Oklahoman was born just outside of Collinsville. She is a member of the "First Families of the Cherokee Nation." After over 30 years of working as a nurse in the area, Lorna has pursued and accomplished her dream of becoming a professional wildlife photographer. She has been published in local news sources, for photos of wildfires, nature, and wild animals. Several times her photos of wild birds, wildlife, and scenery have been in Montana Outdoors magazine. Most recently in several calendars, including the official Glacier National Park 2026 Calendar. Lorna and her husband, Stephen have six children and nine grandchildren.
