About the Artist
I am a 34-year-old Cherokee citizen I live in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, with my husband and six children. I am currently spending my time doing dialysis from home and spending my time sewing and beading. I enjoy making art and sewing as well as beadwork. Five of six of our children dance in powwows and me and my husband make their regalia and beadwork, which has been a great bonding time together. I enjoy my culture and heritage and being blessed with the ability to create and teach others, including our children, about our heritage and culture.
