About the Artist
Candace Shanholtzer is an enrolled member and registered artist of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. She works in various media including oil, acrylic, gouache, and graphite. Candace has exhibited her artwork in numerous juried, open, and invitational shows, where she has received various awards. Her work can be found in galleries in Oklahoma and Texas, permanent collections, and in private collections throughout the United States. She works full time as an artist out of her home studio in southern Oklahoma.
