Description
Eagle-head cedar bowl with a pine stem. This was Roger Vann’s style. I'm grateful to be able to pass on what he taught me to so many.

About the Artist
I've always loved my native culture and whenever I was in high school. One of my uncles, Roger Vann taught me how to make pipes. Then years later in life, I started making them again. I've made 46 pipes in total. Watching a piece of wood become something beautiful, is just so therapeutic. Making them and getting in touch with my culture has really helped me in life in many ways. It's very peaceful to me, holding something that I created out of nothing.
