.925 silver overlay depicting the deer with turquoise and .925 silver tips. The artwork symbolizes and honors the deer. The Deer Clan is one of the seven Cherokee clans making the white-tailed deer a sacred animal. Cherokees from this clan were the keepers, hunters, and trackers of the deer, as well as keepers of the deer medicine.

About the Artist
I have been creating silver jewelry for over 55 years, primarily selling at musical events and attracting many customers. At that time, I also showcased my work at my mother's beauty shop in Tulsa. Early in my career, I participated in an art show when Wilma Mankiller was Chief. I took a break from the 1980s until 2010, but am back at it now and have perfected my craft while enjoying the process.
