Make your very own ribbon pants!
Don't miss this special opportunity to learn how to sew a pair of ribbon pants with renowned Cherokee textile artist Eva Cantrell. You'll receive hands-on guidance and expert tips in a class designed for those with basic sewing experience and access to a sewing machine. Once you secure your spot, a complete supply list will be emailed to you so you can arrive with the materials you'll need to be successful in class.
Classes fill up quickly and is capped to 10 participants, so be sure to reserve your spot today!
Class to be held at the Cherokee Nation Anna Mitchell Cultural and Welcome Center at 953 E. Illinois in Vinita, OK from 10AM - 3PM.
No reservations will be taken after 4:00 PM (CST) the day before the class.
Cancellations must be given no later than 24 hours before the class.
You are encouraged to bring your own snacks/lunch.
Participant age restricted to 16+.
About the Instructor: Eva Cantrell is a multi-award-winning artist who blends traditional Cherokee techniques with contemporary materials in her basketry, textile work, and pottery. Trained under Jane Osti, Crystal Hanna, and Troy Jackson, she incorporates ancient motifs and their stories into her art. Cantrell is passionate about sharing both her skills and cultural knowledge with those eager to learn.
Please Note: A confirmation letter, indicating the number of reserved spots, will be emailed to the email given on the order. Letters may be presented on phones or in physical form. If reserving a spot as a gift, please leave a note during the checkout process indicating who the recipient will be and their email address so the email can be sent to them.
