This is the Story of Samuel A. Worcester, a missionary to the Cherokee from 1825 to 1859. Chronicled are his life and accomplishments among the Cherokee, such as setting the syllabary into type so that he and Elias Boudinot could print the bilingual Cherokee Phoenix.
