About the Artist
I am a 34-year-old Cherokee citizen. I live in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, with my husband and six children. I am currently spending my time doing dialysis from home and spending my time sewing and beading. I enjoy making art, sewing, and beadwork. Five of six of our children dance in powwows and me and my husband and I make their regalia and beadwork, which has been a great bonding time together. I enjoy my culture and heritage and being blessed with the ability to create and teach others, including our children, about our heritage and culture.
