About the Artist
Hello, my name is Ryan Sanders. I am a lithic artist. My passion for this art came from when I was a kid. I would go to the river or creek and find rocks that have been worked into a tool or just rough preshape. Since I was little, I always thought I could make one. Now, it's grown into a passion I have for keeping this art alive within Cherokee Nation.
