About the Artist
Karon Crutchley is a blessed wife, mother of four sons, grandmother of four, surrounded by family and friends and filled with the peace from my Maker. As sole owner of my Art and Floral business services located just outside of Eufaula, Oklahoma, I thought why not name the business Karon's. My name’s spelling has always been an excellent conversation starter. The design passion started in fourth grade while residing in a small rural town in Owasso, Oklahoma. Art & Softball Scholarships assisted with the financing of continued education at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the home of Cherokee Nation. Years wove many different paths of design into the pattern of life. Those consisted of areas such as hand-sewn custom drapes; custom hand-painted children’s furniture published in Horchow magazines; interior design of Vogue luxury bus liners; art instructor of private schools; and floral designer for wedding coordinators would be some on the list. Recent accomplishments include being selected as one of six muralist for Eufaula Mural Festival, selected artist for 3rd Annual Scenic 2023 Art Exhibit; receiving the 2024 Biafarin Award; being a selected as a painting category winner of 53rd Annual Trail of Tears Art Show, drawing category winner of 29th Annual Cherokee Homecoming Art Show and selected artist for two entries in the drawing category in the 54th Annual Trail of Tears Art Show. This time has allowed me to pursue one of my true passions, “Painting!” The inspirations now flow easily and excitingly. So what’s next? My hopes that by sharing the gift of talent that was given to me will create a friendship, will be a joy to you and to hear you say "I Love My New Art!” Karon Crutchley.
