About the Artist

I am an award-winning Cherokee basket weaver. My baskets range from very contemporary designs to using Cherokee methods and designs that predate the Trail of Tears. I also do research on pre-European Southeastern basketry. I not only weave, but also teach and do presentations on pre-contact and Cherokee basketry.
