About the Artist
Andrea Mina Savar has been a working artist for over 30 years in the mediums of jewelry, painting/illustration, fiction writing and textile art. Inspired by the natural world: leaves, flowers and creatures of all kinds tend to wiggle their way into her art. As a mother of a small child, traditional Cherokee stories and language preservation have become increasingly important and present in her everyday family life as well as in her creative works. She owns a boutique/gallery in the Seattle area with her husband called The Curious Nest.
